A man has been charged with the murder of a father-of-11 in Cardiff.
South Wales Police said they were called to reports of a serious assault shortly after 9am on Sunday to an address in the Butetown area of Cardiff.
The victim was later identified by police as 64-year-old Ibrahim Yassin.
Mr Yassin was described by his family as a “devoted father”.
Officers have charged a 38-year-old man from the Butetown area with Mr Yassin’s murder.
Mujeeb Rahman Hassani is due before Cardiff Magistrates’ Court today.
The family of Mr Yassin are receiving support from specially trained family liaison officers.

Senior investigating officer DCI Matt Davies said there had been a “considerable police presence in Butetown” since Mr Yassin’s death.
He thanked the community for its understanding during the investigation.
