An 18-year-old charged with attempted murder in Saco pleaded not guilty to all of the charges against her.
Smiling in court Tuesday, Ariana Tito pleaded not guilty to charges including attempted murder and witness tampering.
According to court documents, Tito is accused of shooting a 32-year-old woman who was in a relationship with her brother, Lorenze Labonte.
Labonte is charged with murder in a separate case. Tito allegedly shot the woman the morning after her brother’s arrest to keep her from testifying against him.
The victim suffered a gunshot wound to her cheek that exited her neck. She was last listed in critical condition.
Tito is due in court again in March.
She is being held on $500,000 cash bail.
