A second suspect has been charged as part of a murder investigation into the death of a man in North Ayrshire.
Alan Lawson was assaulted at a property in Alexander Avenue, Largs, over the weekend of Saturday 3 February.
The 36-year-old, from Saltcoats, died in hospital on Tuesday 6 February and a murder probe was subsequently launched following a post-mortem examination.
On Wednesday, Police Scotland confirmed a second man has now been arrested and charged in connection with Mr Lawson’s death.
The 27-year-old suspect is due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court later in the day.
