A Maine man is accused of lacing ice cream with THC at a café in New Hampshire.
Marc Flore, 43, is accused of lacing a batch of coffee-Oreo flavored ice cream with THC and putting it with other batches of ice cream in a freezer at Roots Cafe in Newmarket, according to court documents.
That ice cream was then sold to customers.
THC is believed to be the main ingredient in cannabis that produces the psychoactive effect, according to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
Flore was charged with tampering with consumer products.
If convicted, Flore faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
