A pair is wanted in the theft of more than $9,000 in jewelry from a Maine antique store.
Pardelian Muntean, 21, and Liana Moldovan, 34, face charges of theft by unauthorized taking, according to the York County Sheriff’s Office.
Muntean and Moldovan allegedly stole more than $9,000 worth of jewelry from an antique business in Arundel back on Dec. 10, 2023.
The pair are believed to be part of what the sheriff’s office described as a “criminal organization committing retail thefts throughout the country.”
Muntean and Moldovan also have warrants for their arrests out of Arizona, New Hampshire, New York, Texas and other jurisdictions in Maine, according to the sheriff’s office.
“Detectives are working with federal authorities to locate the fugitives and return them to Maine to answer their charges,” the sheriff’s office said.
