A South Portland teen accused of planning a school shooting may be tried as an adult.
The Portland Press Herald reported police presented new evidence Friday in the hearing to determine whether he will be tried as an adult.
Police say they found weighted body armor, Nazi flags, tributes to the Columbine gunmen and several firearms when they raided his home last year.
If he is tried as an adult, the charge of criminal solicitation to commit murder could carry a life sentence.
The teen has pleaded not guilty.
