Bangor police charged three people with multiple drug offenses on Saturday after receiving a tip from a passerby about drug use happening in a parked car.
Police reached the scene, a parking lot off Main Street in Bangor, at about 6 p.m. Saturday, and found the car with four people inside, Bangor police shared in a post on X, formerly Twitter.
Searching the car, police found what they described as a “substantial amount of illegal drugs.”
Three of the occupants were charged with criminal offenses. Courtney Gould, 37, of Hampden, Michael Matthews, 36, of Hampden and Dustin Soucier, 38, of Bangor, were charged with unlawful trafficking of scheduled drugs and unlawful possession of scheduled drugs. Gould was also charged with violating conditions of release because she was on bail from a previous criminal charge.
