Jenelle Evans and her husband, David Eason, have gone through ups and downs over the years.
The Teen Mom 2 alum began dating Eason in 2015. Shortly after their September 2017 nuptials, the pair welcomed daughter Ensley in January 2018. (Evans is also the mom of son Jace, whom she shares with ex Andrew Lewis, and son Kaiser, whom she shares with ex Nathan Griffith.)
Less than two years later, the pair had gone their separate ways and Evans planned on filing for divorce. Their tumultuous split occurred after Eason admitted to killing their family dog and Evans temporarily lost custody of both Kaiser and Ensley. However, the couple reconciled in March 2020, vowing to give their marriage another shot.
“I left him, and I was like, this isn’t going to be good when I go back to him,” Evans exclusively told Us Weekly in March 2021. “I know some people don’t understand, but there’s a lot of worse things that have happened in my life than getting back with my husband and trying to work it out.” Evans filed for separation in February 2024.
