GORHAM — Trendy Stanchfield was promoted to serve as the senior vice president, mission services at Goodwill Northern New England. She will oversee workforce, disability, and healthcare programs for the nonprofit, which serves more than 15,000 clients every year.
Stanchfield most recently served as senior vice president of advancement for Goodwill where she led the marketing and communication teams, fundraising initiatives for growth, and community engagement teams to build partnerships across Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. She will continue that work, while also overseeing Mission Services. She has been with Goodwill NNE for 12 years.
“I’m thrilled that Trendy will lead our teams with her compassionate, people-first style. Because she deeply knows Goodwill NNE, I expect Mission Services will be more closely tied to every part of our nonprofit’s operations,” said Tripp Harrison, president and CEO of Goodwill NNE.
Mission Services includes workforce programs, vocational rehabilitation programs, 16 group homes that support adults with disabilities, active community supports for adults with disabilities, AmeriCorps programs, and two brain injury clinics.
Prior to moving to Maine 12 years ago, Stanchfield led the mission and development programs in seven states for the Muscular Dystrophy Association headquartered in Chicago. In her 17 years with MDA, Stanchfield focused on developing and executing program services, which includes clinical evaluations and care plans, programming for client summer camps, and recruiting and mobilizing volunteers throughout all of MDA’s client services. She also led the fundraising initiatives, raising over $10 million during her tenure.
Stanchfield lives in Brunswick with her husband, two teenage sons, and two cats.
