The University of Maine will learn where it will play in the 2024 NCAA Division I men’s hockey tournament on Sunday evening. The tournament selection show will take place at 6:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPNU, which is a subscription service.
The bracket for the tournament will be available after the show at NCAA.com.
There are four hockey tournament regionals this year, in Maryland Heights, MO; Providence, RI; Springfield, MA; and Sioux Falls, SD. The regionals take place from March 28-31.
The four winners of the regionals will advance to the Frozen Four, which will be held at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, MN on April 11 and 13.
The winners of the six conference tournaments – Atlantic, Big Ten, CCHA, ECAC, Hockey East and NCHC – and 10 at-large teams will make up the 16-team field. The at-large teams are determined by the PairWise rankings.
