READFIELD, Maine — Snowy and icy roads are making for unsafe conditions after a spring storm hit Maine Saturday.
Maine State Police issued a warning to drivers after they say they’ve responded to about 130 crashes and slide-offs on Maine roads.
Including a crash on Beaver Dam Road in Readfield between a pick up truck and a plow truck.
Authorities say around 1:30 p.m. Saturday, the pick up truck driver lost control and crashed head-on with the plow truck, and crashed into an inlet of Maranacook Lake.
Police say the driver helped themselves out of the truck and no one was injured.
Officials say only a few of the crashes they responded to reported minor injuries.
