The “diaper bandit” is back and is once again dumping bags of soiled adult diapers on the side of roads in North Yarmouth.
In 2019, someone was illegally dumping bags of soiled adult diapers along routes 9, 115 and 231 in North Yarmouth.
That person quickly became known as the “diaper bandit.”
Now it’s happening again.
Soiled diapers have been found along routes 9, 115 and 231, the exact same roads that this was happening on before, according to the town of North Yarmouth.
Littering is a civil offense with a fine of between $100 and $500, and subsequent offenses can be fined between $500 and $1,000.
Anyone with information about the bandit’s activities or identity can call the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office at 207-774-1444.
