A Maine woman has been arrested after a neighbor discovered her breaking into a home in Norway and held her at gunpoint until police arrived, according to the Sun Journal.
Lindsay Clark, 43, was charged with attempted burglary and criminal mischief, according to the Sun Journal. She’s being held at the Oxford County Jail in South Paris.
The Sun Journal reported that a man heard a banging noise followed by glass breaking at his neighbor’s home on King Street on Monday.
He picked up a handgun and went to investigate. He discovered the suspect trying to break into the home. She stopped and they waited for the police to arrive, according to the Sun Journal.
Police told the Sun Journal that nothing was stolen, but the home was damaged.
