A fire destroyed a popular market in Buxton over the weekend.
Crews responded to a fire at Panda Market on Parker Farm Road early Sunday morning, according to the Buxton Fire Department.
When they arrived on the scene, the roof partially collapsed, which forced crews to back out of the building, delaying their ability to put out the flames.
While no injuries have been reported, two pets were killed and the people who lived in the building are without a place to stay.
Panda Market is known to be one of the cheapest places to get gas in Maine.
