A small plane made an emergency landing Wednesday afternoon on a road in Hollis.
Joseph Bowen, 57, of Norway was flying the blue and white Cessna model 180 about 2 p.m. when he became low on fuel, according to York County Sheriff William King Jr.
Bowen landed on Killick Pond Road, near the Poland Springs facility, King said.
King said that the plane will be stored on the Poland Springs property until Bowen can dissemble it and have it moved at the direction of the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration.
