CAMDEN – Camden National Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Forbes as chief human resources officer. In this role, Forbes will lead critical human resources functions, including enabling and cultivating a diverse workforce to serve the financial needs of our communities and drive the company’s commitment to being a great place to work.

Forbes is a seasoned human resources professional with more than 20 years of public company experience. He most recently served as chief people officer at Alcom, LLC. He gained expertise in talent acquisition and management, compensation, benefits, culture, and engagement at Maine Medical Center and Fairchild Semiconductor. He holds a master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology from Hofstra University and a bachelor of arts from the University of Southern Maine. Forbes is a Society for Human Resource Management – Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
