A Portland woman was arrested in Westbrook early Monday morning for the suspected theft of a Colorado vehicle.
Kristin Roberts, 51, has been charged with assault, resisting arrest and being a fugitive from justice, according to the Westbrook Police Department.
She was identified as a suspect during investigation, the department said, and located at an Arlington Avenue residence where she was arrested.
Roberts allegedly punched an officer in the face during her arrest. The officer was not injured.
The vehicle was recovered and towed from Arlington Avenue, the department said.
Roberts was taken to the Cumberland County Jail in Portland. She also has a warrant for her arrest in Colorado and could be extradited there.
