Northern Light Vascular Care in Bangor is pleased to welcome Samuel Hui, MD, FACS to the team.
Dr. Hui earned his medical education from Saba University School of Medicine in Netherlands. After completing an internship in General Surgery at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, he finished a residency in general surgery at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch and then a fellowship in vascular surgery at University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in San Antonio.
Certified by the American Board of Surgery in both General Surgery and Vascular Surgery, Dr. Hui is a skilled vascular and endovascular surgeon. He treats a range of vein disorders, including:
• Aortic aneurysmal disease, a bulge in the artery that carries blood from the heart.
• Carotid stenosis, a narrowing of the carotid arteries, which run between the heart and the brain.
• Hemodialysis access management, a service for patients on dialysis.
• Mesenteric ischemia, a narrowing of arteries connecting to your small intestine.
• Peripheral arterial disease, a condition where a buildup of fatty deposits restricts blood flow to the limbs.
• Surgical techniques to remove splanchnic and peripheral artery aneurysms.

Dr. Hui has a special interest in limb preservation, chronic venous hypertension of the lower extremities, and thoracic outlet syndrome.
