Firefighters saved a Hampden home after a blaze started late Tuesday night.
The fire broke out about 10:13 p.m. at a home on Patterson Street in East Hampden, according to the Professional Fire Fighters of Hampden, IAFF Local 4903.
A second alarm went out after the first crew assessed the scene.
The union said the quick response prevented any injuries and kept the damage to just a portion of the upstairs.
