Students receiving their bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Maine will be honored at the school’s annual commencement ceremonies this weekend.
The university will kick off the weekend with the commencement ceremony for graduate students at 4 p.m. Friday. Students from all disciplines will be featured.

The university holds two separate ceremonies on Saturday to accommodate the number of students across disciplines that are receiving their diplomas.
Starting at 9:30 a.m., students from the college of education and human development, college of liberal arts and sciences, the Maine business school and the division of lifelong learning will walk across the stage.

The last commencement ceremony in Orono starts Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. Students from the college of earth, life and health sciences, as well as students of the Maine college and engineering will receive their diplomas and move their tassels.

Wrapping up the weekend will be the University of Maine at Machias’ commencement ceremony, held at 1 p.m. Sunday. The ceremony will be livestreamed on the university’s YouTube channel.
