The Bangor School Committee will vote this week on the superintendent candidate.
The committee will meet at the Bangor High School library at 7 p.m. Wednesday, according to Bangor School Department spokesperson Ray Phinney.
That comes as Superintendent James Tager plans to retire on June 30 after a 42-year career in education. Tager joined the Bangor School Department as superintendent in April 2021. He announced his plans to retire in February.
