The victims of the Great Pond house fire are still unidentified.
The fire broke out about 5 a.m. Monday at the Old Dam Way home, according to Lt. Aaron Turcotte of the Maine State Police.
Firefighters discovered two bodies at the scene.
Police will need to conduct DNA testing on the bodies of both victims in order to determine their identities, Turcotte said Tuesday.
Their cause and manner of death also have yet to be determined, as well as the cause of the fire.
The fire remains under investigation.
