The bodies of two people discovered early Monday morning at the scene of a house fire in the Hancock County town of Great Pond have been identified.
The Maine Office of the Chief Medical Examiner used DNA testing to identify the bodies found at 23 Old Dam Way as 35-year-old Marie Robbins, who lived at the home, and 38 year old Ryan Devisme of Aurora.
The deaths are still under investigation pending further testing by the chief medical examiner’s office and “considered suspicious,” Maine State Police Lt. Aaron Turcotte said.
Police do not believe there is any ongoing threat to the public, Turcotte said.
