Don’t be alarmed if you happen to spot green and yellow water pooling near the Bangor International Airport.
It’s part of a test of a storm line off Maine Avenue that the Bangor Water Quality Department conducted Wednesday morning.
The biodegradable dye will eventually end up in the airport’s retention pond along Godfrey Boulevard.
The dye poses no danger to the public or environment, and the Water Quality Department said it will dissipate.
Additional information wasn’t immediately available early Wednesday afternoon.
