Vandals spray-painted a swastika and offensive language on the Thorndike post office.
The vandalism was discovered Wednesday at the post office on Mountain View Road, according to the Portland Press Herald.
Unity Postmaster Candace Raven and other officials spent the day covering the swastika and offensive language, along with the words “Geeker Party,” “Ice Baby” and “TEHE,” the Press Herald reported.
Raven declined to speak with the newspaper about the vandalism and a regional U.S. Postal Service spokesperson didn’t respond to a request for comment.
