A car destroyed the wall of a building in downtown Bar Harbor Tuesday morning when it drove into the side of Melt, a takeout restaurant on Main Street.
There were no reported injuries due to the collision, according to local news outlet Bar Harbor Story.
Melt, a seasonal business, has been open Wednesdays through Saturdays since early May, according to its website and Instagram feed. It was not immediately clear if anyone was inside the business when the collision occurred.
Additional information about the accident was not available early Tuesday afternoon.
