The man killed in a Wednesday collision in Waterville has been identified.
Joshua Nelson, 35, was driving a white Mitsubishi dump truck about 2:30 p.m. when he struck the driver’s side of a gray Toyota Camry turning left onto West River Road from Trafton Road, according to Waterville police Maj. Jason Longley.
Nelson and the driver of the Camry were ejected on impact, Longley said Friday morning.
Nelson died at the scene. The Camry’s driver was taken to Northern Light Inland Hospital in Waterville before being transferred to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.
The identity of the Camry’s driver is being withheld because of their age, Longley said.
The crash remains under investigation.
