More than 3,000 pages of documents about the investigation into the Lewiston mass shooting were released Friday afternoon.
The Maine State Police released 51 documents from various law enforcement agencies and other organizations who responded to the Oct. 25 mass shooting, manhunt and aftermath.
Eighteen people were fatally shot and 13 injured by Robert Card II at Just-in-Time Recreation and Schemengees Bar and Grille.
State police released the records Friday in response to numerous Freedom of Access requests, staff attorney Paul Cavanaugh said. Police are still reviewing documents and requests.
