Police say that a body found in Lincolnville last week was that of a Union man who had been missing for two weeks.
They identified the man as 30-year-old Jonah Farley, who was reported missing to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office on May 18.
Farley’s body was found just north of Lincolnville Beach on the afternoon of June 3, according to Lt. Cody Laite of the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office. He was identified by the state medical examiner’s office in Augusta.
Police did not immediately share more information about the case. Members of the Maine Forest Service and other police agencies helped with the investigation.
