A fire burned down a garage in Levant on Sunday morning.
The fire broke out about 10 a.m. in the four-bay garage on Hodgdon Road, a dead-end road.
Levant Fire Chief Eric Strout said that the fire was contained to the garage, but it was a “total loss.”
“With quick response from great mutual aid partners this fire was brought under control in minutes and no injuries to home owners or firefighters on scene,” Strout said Sunday afternoon.
Crews from Carmel, Corinth, Glenburn, Hermon and Kenduskeag assisted Levant firefighters.
