A piece of concrete fell on a person Tuesday afternoon in Brownville in Piscataquis County.
Emergency services responded around 4 p.m. after the concrete fell on someone, a member of the Dover-Foxcroft Fire Department said.
Railroad Avenue, just off Route 11, is closed to all traffic and pedestrians until further notice, the town of Brownville said on Facebook. Law enforcement is present at the scene, the town said.
Construction started this spring on Railroad Avenue at the underpass, the town said. The sidewalk and retaining wall are being replaced under the railroad bridge.
