CLINTON, New York — The following local residents received bachelor of arts degrees from Hamilton College on Sunday, May 19, in a Commencement ceremony concluding the college’s 212th year:
Syra Gutow of Castine. Gutow, a Middle East/Islamicate world studies and women’s and gender studies major, graduated summa cum laude with departmental honors.
Alec Jansujwicz of Bangor. Jansujwicz, an environmental studies major, graduated cum laude with departmental honors.
