The small plane that crashed on Swan’s Island earlier this week narrowly avoided hitting a power line before landing in some trees, according to a video captured by a woman who witnessed the event.
“It happened so fast that it was hard to process in the moment,” Meghan Joyce, a resident who captured the incident on her phone at 5:48 p.m. on Tuesday, told WVII ABC 7/WFVX Fox 22.
Joyce, who shared the video with the BDN, said that the pilot was relatively unharmed, walking away from the crash and suffering what appeared to be a broken nose.
