A missing police dog that disappeared in the Scottish Highlands near Loch Ness has been found “safe and well” and reunited with her handler.
PD Fergie ran off after a deer bolted in front of her during a walk north of Polmaily House at around 10am on Sunday.
The remote area north of the A831 – less than five miles from Loch Ness – is a regular walking route for the three-and-a-half-year-old German Shepherd.
