An injured hiker was rescued from Chick Hill on Monday night.
Rescuers were called to the mountain in Clifton about 7:30 p.m., according to the Eddington Fire Department.
The hiker was stuck near the base of the Chick Hill cliffs with an ankle injury and couldn’t walk out.
Rescuers managed to reach the hiker in about 30 minutes and then get them off the mountain within another hour, just after dark, the Eddington Fire Department said.
The hiker was taken to the hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
