A New Hampshire man allegedly shot a man twice outside a pizza restaurant in Cornish.
Sean Ambrose, 40, of Canterbury, New Hampshire, has been charged with reckless conduct with a firearm, according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
Ambrose allegedly shot 44-year-old Eric Letendre of West Baldwin about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the parking lot of Fairgrounds Pizza and Pub restaurant on Maple Street.
When troopers arrived, they applied a tourniquet to Letendre while they waited for rescuers to arrive. Letendre was airlifted to Maine Medical Center in Portland, where he was treated for injuries not considered life-threatening, according to Moss.
Ambrose and Letendre knew each other, Moss said.
Ambrose was taken to the York County Jail in Alfred.
The shooting remains under investigation.
