It’s in your best interest to avoid Ohio Street in Bangor for the next few days.
That’s because contractor Streets Paving will be milling and paving Ohio Street from Thursday to next Tuesday, according to the city of Bangor.
The road work will extend from James Street to 15th Street, roughly the area stretching from the Thomas Hill Standpipe to Interstate 95.
No parking will be permitted in this area during construction, and the city warns it will be congested, so drivers should seek alternative routes until the work is done.
If you must travel over Ohio Street, follow the instructions from flaggers and all signs.
