Three dead individuals were found Saturday afternoon at a home in Mechanic Falls.
Around 4 p.m. the Mechanic Falls Police Department requested the assistance of the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit after the bodies were discovered, according to Shannon Moss, spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
The bodies were transported to the Office of Chief Medical Examiner for autopsies to determine the cause and manner of the deaths and to identify the individuals.
Police said there is no danger to the public but didn’t release any other information.
