FORT KENT, Maine – The Fort Kent Police Department issued an alert on Friday morning requesting the public’s help in finding McClaren “Mickey” McBreairty. Later that morning, the department announced that he had been found and was safe.
The police thanked the Maine Warden Service and the public for their help in locating McBreairty.
Police said McBreairty went fishing on Thursday morning, but did not return that night. Before being found, he was last seen at the Allagash Checkpoint of the Northern Maine Woods. McBreairty was driving his silver Ford F-150.
