A missing Old Town man has been found safe.
Wayne Dionne, 87, was reported missing after he never made it to an appointment in Augusta or returned to his Seventh Street home on Wednesday, according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
Dionne, who suffers from cognitive issues, has been found safe, Moss early Friday morning.
