A Harpswell man suffered life-threatening injuries in a Monday morning crash.
Jeffrey Berkowitz, 76, was driving a 2006 Aston Martin on Harpswell Neck Road in Harpswell about 10:44 a.m. when he apparently fell asleep at the wheel, went off the road and hit a tree, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
Berkowitz was taken to Maine Medical Center in Portland, where he was being treated for life-threatening critical injuries, the sheriff’s office said Monday evening.
No additional information was immediately available.
