An Auburn man died four days after he nearly drowned in Range Pond in Poland.
Hunter Duffy, 21, was swimming with friends about 2 p.m. on Aug. 3 when he swam out too far, became tired and went under the water, according to the Sun Journal.
It took his friends about five to 10 minutes to find Duffy and bring him to shore, the Journal reported.
Duffy was taken to the hospital, where he was in critical condition. He died on Aug. 7, according to the newspaper.
