Belfast police, assisted by Waldo County Sheriff’s Office, arrested two Belfast residents and a Rockland man on drug charges on Monday.
Brittany Saucier, 24, and Alexander Wilson, 38, were arrested at their Swan Lake Avenue home and face charges of aggravated drug trafficking, possession of scheduled W drugs, receiving stolen property, possession of firearms prohibited for certain persons, violation of conditions of release and cruelty to animals, according to police. Sidney Harris, 37, of Rockland was arrested on a charge of possession of schedule W drugs.
The search warrant that led the arrests was the result of a year-long investigation into drug trafficking connected to the residence, Belfast police said in a news release.
Police discovered schedule W drugs believed to be methamphetamine and fentanyl, along with several cell phones, scales and and other items connected with illegal drug sales, according to the release. Police also found several stolen handguns and weapons.
All three are awaiting a formal arraignment, which is scheduled to take place at Waldo County Superior Court on Oct. 9.
