Kamala Harris has passed the political correctness test with flying colors, the first time. And if the president stands out front while someone else directs the show that may be enough.
Joe Biden is politically dead, we were told. The Democrats rushed to appoint, anoint and they hope to coronate Harris. While she is off running for office, who do they say is in charge of the government? Joe Biden until Inauguration Day.
But if Harris really plans to steer the ship of state we should know that she can do so.
Robert Kennedy Jr. has had to fight the Democratic Party in state after state just to get on the ballots. Meanwhile the media had to dig back 10 years to find the right dirt to throw at him.
Donald Trump’s trials have gone on even longer. Because of political correctness and a shortage of time, I don’t think Harris will face the same test. But there should be no free pass. There should be debates with all three candidates, with no fluff questions for her. She should face real examination of her record and abilities. We need to be sure, if elected, she can do more with the ship of state than put it on autopilot.
