The driver of a farm truck died after crashing into woods off the Beans Mill Road in Corinth Saturday afternoon.
The lone male occupant of the large truck was trapped between the passenger side of the vehicle and a tree, according to the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office. Emergency crews including life flight went to the scene of the crash near the intersection of Beans Mill and Exeter roads, but the man did not survive.
The identity of the driver was not released.
The crash, which was reported at 4:25 p.m., is being investigated by the sheriff’s office. State Police and fire departments from Corinth and Kenduskeag also went to the site of the crash.
