ROCKLAND — Robert Carr will read his poetry at Rockland Public Library on Thursday, Sept. 19 at 6:30 p.m.
Carr is the author of five poetry collections, and his work has appeared in the Greensboro Review, Lana Turner, Maine Review, Massachusetts Review, Shenandoah, and other publications.
He is co-editor for the 2019 Ghana Literary Group anthology “Bodies and Scars”, a 2022 Monson Arts resident; and 2024 Tuscany writer in residence with SPOKE, a Boston-based arts advocacy organization.
Forthcoming collections include “Phallus Sprouting Leaves”, winner of the 2024 Rane Arroyo Chapbook Series at Seven Kitchens Press; and “Blue Memento” from Lily Poetry Review Books.
