Gwen Walz, the wife of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, is scheduled to visit Maine in the coming week as part of Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign.
The visit to the Pine Tree State is one of several that Gwen Walz plans to make in the wake of Tuesday night’s debate between Harris and former President Donald Trump, according to Bloomberg News. She also plans to swing through Georgia and New Hampshire.
Both Harris and Tim Walz, who is seeking to be vice president in the Democratic administration, are planning separate campaign stops in various other competitive states, according to Bloomberg. Harris’ husband, Doug Emhoff, who visited Maine last month, will also be on the road campaigning.
More detail was not immediately available about the time and location of Gwen Walz’s visit to Maine.
Trump and his would-be vice president on the Republican ticket, U.S. Senator J.D. Vance of Ohio, have not yet announced any campaign stops by them or their spouses to Maine.
