Donald Trump is asking a lot from those who are conservative in nature and who believe in law and order to support him. Is his life one of a person who has been influenced by traditional norms and family values? Does he respect the rule of law and order? In addition to inciting a mob to attack the U.S. Capitol and being subject to more than $500 million in civil judgments, Trump is a two-time divorced, two-time impeached, four-time military draft deferred, five-time indicted, six-time filer for bankruptcy protection and 34-count convicted felon.
Since Donald Trump will not even admit he lost the 2020 presidential election, we must turn the page and move on. I think he is a deeply flawed character whose judgment during any second, final term could not be trusted. Trump’s false claim that the 2020 presidential election was rigged and stolen through fraud by Democrats is without evidentiary support. His unsubstantiated election denial, left unabated, has sadly eroded trust in the democratic process and has the potential to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power.
