ELLSWORTH – The Rotary Club of Ellsworth is pleased to announce a community pancake breakfast on Friday, Sept. 27 from 7-10 a.m. at the Ellsworth Elementary Middle School. This event will bring together friends, families, and community members to enjoy a delicious breakfast while supporting a remarkable cause.
All proceeds from the breakfast will be donated to Rotary International, specifically to assist Centro de Prótesis & Terapia Física, a vital program that serves individuals in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, and several Central American countries who have lost limbs. This program is dedicated to helping those affected regain their mobility and independence through access to prosthetics and physical therapy.
“Our pancake breakfast is more than just a meal; it’s an opportunity to contribute to a cause that is changing lives on a global scale,” said Kelly Brown, chair of the Ellsworth Rotary International Committee with the Ellsworth Rotary. “We invite everyone in the community to join us, enjoy a hearty breakfast, and support this incredible initiative that provides hope and dignity to individuals who need it most.”
The event promises a morning of great food and community spirit. Whether you’re an early riser or looking for a delicious breakfast to start your day, the Rotary Club of Ellsworth welcomes you to participate and make a difference.
Tickets can be purchased at the door, at the Ellsworth Chamber of Commerce or from any Rotarian. All are welcome. Every dollar raised will go directly toward the efforts of Centro de Prótesis & Terapia Física, ensuring that more individuals have the opportunity to rebuild their lives.
