The U.S. government, and its international commitments, is likely the most complicated and important enterprise the world has ever known. As such we require the best and brightest and most experienced individual available to run it.
A Democratic friend of mine, whom I’ve known for many years, asked me why I support Donald Trump for president. I answered that, “We, the United States have several very serious problems, mostly created by Biden and Harris, which must be solved ASAP: the economy, open borders creating a flood of illegal immigrants, and the prospect of a third world war. Former President Trump has had much more experience running a large worldwide enterprise and solving problems whereas Vice President Kamala Harris has none. She’s had three and a half years as vice president and to demonstrate her problem-solving management skills and has done nothing. Her tenure as San Francisco District Attorney is not the same as running the United States and keeping us out of another war.”
My friend asked about Trump’s conviction for business records manipulation and alleged sexual misconduct. I answered, “Both Trump and Harris suffer from politically driven media hyperbole much of which intentionally distracts our attention from our current problems. Trump suffers from political hyperbole more than Harris. However, no hyperbole can undo the essential need for us, the voters, to hire the most experienced candidate available for president. We’re fortunate that we have such a candidate, former President Trump, who has previously successfully governed the United States.”
